Product information "Tim Steam Tug"
Tim is a steam tug from the early 20th century. The model can be built as a working ship or as a museum ship (with railing). The model impresses with an extensive set of fittings and high-quality etched brass parts allow for fine detailing of the model.
There is enough space in the voluminous fuselage for the entire RC installation. A smoke generator can also be installed optionally. The model can be equipped with lighting. The chimney is - like the original - foldable and can be moved with a servo. The kit provides for the drive with conventional brush motors, but also modern outrunners.
Tim is built entirely from wood. The kit is characterized by the use of the latest laser technology and a high level of precision. The hull is constructed using the hard chine technique and is covered with precisely laser-cut wood.
